About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Test Technician to join our team at Alstom in Crewe, UK. As a key member of our industrial team, you will be responsible for supporting the overhaul of rail HVAC systems, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overhaul and test HVAC systems, including refrigeration and electrical components
  • Support production staff in fault-finding and troubleshooting
  • Conduct performance testing and auditing to ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations
  • Collate trend data to propose improvements in production processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in Heating / Ventilation / AC / Chiller systems
  • Experience in diagnosing system faults, repair, and maintenance of refrigeration and electrical circuits
  • F-GAS and ODS qualified – C &C 2079 Cat 2
  • A suitable electrical qualification, such as BS7671, C&G 2365, 2357
