About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Hays Accountancy and Finance. As the Head of Financial Operations for our school establishment, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare for termly audits
  • Manage payroll and pensions
  • Line manage two finance officers
  • Report to governors on the use of school funds
  • Reconcile all payments to Suppliers & Ad-Hoc
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Management Accounts

Requirements

  • Prior school experience is ESSENTIAL
  • ACCA or CIMA Qualified is desirable but Part Qualified & QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates will be considered

What We Offer

  • £50,000 - £70,000, depending on experience
  • 20% pension
  • Parking
  • Office-based role, 5 days a week
