Our client, a leading organization in South Yorkshire, is seeking skilled professionals to join their teams as Neighbourhood Assistants and Officers.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this role ranges from £35,000 to £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Neighbourhood Assistant:

  • Support the Neighbourhood Managers in ensuring compliance with regulations, communicating with customers and contractors, and following established protocols.
  • Assist with invoicing, contract management, and day-to-day office operations.

As a Neighbourhood Officer:

  • Monitor vacant dwellings and re-let properties efficiently, adhering to lettings and void management policies.
  • Provide expert advice and assistance on housing matters, including tenancy rights, responsibilities, and welfare concerns.
  • Liaise with colleagues and agencies to resolve customer problems, such as complaints, rent arrears, or repair requests.
  • Requires a full UK driver's license and access to a vehicle.

This role demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage diverse situations effectively. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in housing/lettings or social housing, along with excellent customer service skills.
