Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the VAT Accountant with the company's VAT requirements
  • Historic review of VAT systems and controls
  • Review of Company VAT treatment (inputs and outputs)
  • Consider any improvements for controls and processes
  • Review of VAT for standalone entity following M&A integration
  • Shape the company's future VAT position
  • Update process notes to reflect changes resulting from the new ERP (SAP S/4Hana)
  • Introduce appropriate testing requirements
  • Assist with resolving any SAP S/4Hana issues
  • Review interaction with Concur expenses

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the UK VAT system at a VAT assistant manager or manager level
  • Systems Knowledge – SAP S/4Hana and SAC, Concur preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive

Key Stakeholders:
  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and reporting accountants in the Company Finance Hub
  • Business Partners & Analysts in Audio and Publishing
  • Centre of excellence (S4 IT Support)
