Workshop Operative / Site Fitter

£15 p/h (Negotiable based upon experience)

Full Time – Permanent

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at MET Recruitment UK Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of carpentry experience and be looking for a permanent opportunity with an established company.

As a Workshop Operative/Site Carpenter, you will travel across the UK, expertly installing lead door sets and windows with precision.

Your role will involve:

  • Traveling to job locations throughout the UK to fulfill installation jobs.
  • Expertly lifting heavy door sets and windows, moving them on site with precision and care.
  • Ensuring smooth installation of radiation shielding products in various healthcare facilities across the UK.
  • Conducting thorough inspections post-installation to guarantee quality and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience operating various carpentry machinery.
  • Skilled in bench joinery/carpentry.
  • CSCS preferred but not essential.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative but also part of a team.
  • Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle advantageous.
