Role Description
Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to work with our talented team. In this role, you will develop and implement Individualised Education Plans, collaborate with support staff, and contribute to the improvement of SEND practices within the school. Your expertise in SEND teaching strategies, behaviour management, and intervention techniques will be invaluable in supporting the growth and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create individualised learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of SEND students.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support.
  • Monitor and report on students' progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as needed.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of SEND practices within the school.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Significant knowledge of SEND teaching strategies, behaviour management, and effective intervention techniques.
  • Strong empathy and patience, with a commitment to inclusive education.

Annual Salary: £38,000 - £52,000, depending on experience.
