Senior Management Accountant Opportunity

The Role

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will report to the Head of Finance and support various stakeholders, including the Board and heads of group functions.

This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities:

  • Management reporting and business partnering
  • Preparation of Group management reporting, along with detailed analysis vs. budget
  • Coordination of the annual budget cycle, understanding drivers behind variances, and quarterly risk management
  • Technical accounting, treasury, and audit support
  • Consolidation of the year-end group accounts, providing ad hoc technical accounting advice
  • Preparation of management reporting, along with detailed analysis vs. budget
  • Coordination of the annual budget cycle, understanding drivers behind variances, and quarterly risk management
  • Involvement in ongoing systems and process projects to support continuous improvement and strategic business objectives
  • Exposure to senior finance and non-finance stakeholders

You will bring:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
  • Strong consolidation, P&L, and Balance Sheet accounting knowledge to prepare monthly and annual financial reporting and support senior finance leaders and the annual budgeting and reporting processes
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting
  • Experience reviewing controls and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Experience working with and communicating with senior non-finance stakeholders
  • Confidence to challenge results and communicate ideas
  • Tenacity and attention to detail to deliver high-quality financial information to support management decisions

This role would suit an individual with multiple client/multiple entity experience looking to expand their skills within a significant commercial business or perhaps an Outsourcing or Client Services Manager looking for a commercial move.
