About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • API Design and Development: Design and develop APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to support system integrations and data exchange.
  • Integration Solutions: Develop integration solutions to connect applications across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define integration requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Implementation and Testing: Implement MuleSoft connectors, flows, and orchestrations to achieve API integrations and data synchronization.
  • Security and Performance: Ensure API security, performance, and reliability by implementing best practices and standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of API integrations.
  • Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support for existing MuleSoft APIs and integrations, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Automation and Documentation: Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and optimize API lifecycle management, and document technical specifications, processes, and configurations for reference and future maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Management, MuleSoft Runtime, Flow Design, etc.).
  • Skills: Proven expertise in designing and developing APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration solutions, strong experience with data formats like JSON, XML, and integration patterns such as messaging, file transfers, and queues.
  • Tools and Technologies: Proficiency in using MuleSoft connectors to integrate with various SaaS and enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Workday), knowledge of API security standards (OAuth, JWT, etc.) and best practices for securing integrations.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues quickly, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MuleSoft Developer Certification: MuleSoft Developer Certification (MCD – Level 1 or higher).
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • API-led Connectivity: Familiarity with API-led connectivity and microservices architecture.
  • Performance Tuning: Experience in performance tuning and optimization of integration solutions.
