Job Title: Manufacturing Equipment Technician
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Equipment Technician to join our team at Ardagh Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and continuous running of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to achieve plant KPI targets
- Perform preventative and planned maintenance on production equipment
- Carry out quality checks and take corrective actions as necessary
- Maximise production and minimise spoilage during the manufacturing process
- Report potential problems to the Shift Manager or relevant Department Heads
Requirements:
- Apprenticeship in a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering discipline
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety work practices
- Experience of preventative and planned maintenance on production equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure and organise and prioritise work load
