Lead Obstetric Sonographer

We are seeking a highly experienced sonographer to join our team at The Portland Hospital, a leading provider of private healthcare for women and children.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall daily management of the clinic, ensuring that sonography examination results meet the clinic standard for quality assurance before findings are released for interpretation.
As a technical or clinical leader/expert in sonography, you will be accountable for the creation, oversight, and implementation of scanning protocols and quality control activities.
You will provide technical, image quality, and accuracy oversight for the assessment of sonography examinations, carry out quality assurance protocols and quality improvement measures, and establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and other members of the external healthcare providers.
The ideal candidate will have extensive sonography education, training, and experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ultrasound, as well as extensive experience in the supervision of sonographers.
As a representative and advocate with other internal or external healthcare providers, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of sonography services within the clinic.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £72,000 per annum, dependent upon experience, and opportunities for career progression through internal and external courses.
