Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Executive Manager to work for our client based in Blackpool, Lancashire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for employees.

Duties:

  • Comply with health and safety legislation, ensuring that all necessary regulations are adhered to.
  • Accountable for the overall health and safety performance of the organization, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Establish clear health and safety standards and goals, ensuring that they are communicated effectively to all employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety within the organization.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with some flexibility required due to nationwide coverage. This position will involve both office and site-based work.
