The Director of Finance is a key member of the New Kensington Community Development Corporation team, responsible for managing the organization's financial systems and operations. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Supervise and manage the finance team, including the Bookkeeper and Finance & IT Specialist.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
- Assess and develop financial management systems, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and other departments to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Provide financial guidance and support to the organization's programs and services.
- Advanced degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in non-profit finance leadership.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Experience with financial management systems, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
