This is a permanent position that requires the individual to work efficiently as part of the team, producing clinical correspondence using Medisec digital transcription software.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide an efficient audio typing service to ensure clinical correspondence and associated actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Assist the Medical Secretary in providing an effective support service to clinical teams, maintaining robust systems and processes for administrative management of the patient pathway.
Requirements: A good all-round knowledge of medical terminology is essential, alongside previous experience in a clerical administrative role. The ideal candidate will be able to deal calmly and diplomatically with a range of personalities and situations, and possess excellent communication skills.
Benefits: The successful candidate can expect an estimated annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience, plus an extensive range of learning opportunities, NHS Pension Scheme, generous holiday entitlement, comprehensive health and wellbeing support, and access to a range of salary sacrifice schemes.
