Senior Electrical Design Engineer

At RGB Recruitment, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our experienced Building Services team. This exciting opportunity involves working on large industrial and commercial schemes with contract values over £30 million, as well as smaller projects for a diverse range of clients, including motor manufacturers, schools, universities, healthcare providers, contractors, and developers.

The ideal candidate will be part of a design team responsible for delivering detailed design projects, utilizing specialist computer software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Key responsibilities include overseeing the installation of building systems, specifying maintenance and operating procedures, and liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors. Additionally, the successful candidate will attend project group and technical meetings, ensuring that the design and maintenance of building systems meet legislative and health and safety requirements. A degree in Building Services or a higher educational qualification, combined with 5+ years of experience in electrical design, is essential. The role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000, along with a range of benefits, including a holiday balance of 25 days, plus bank holidays, and the ability to buy/sell to suit your needs.
