Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Conservation Specialist to join our team at Countydurhamvolunteering. As a key member of our conservation efforts, you will play a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance of our national nature reserve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor site conditions and report findings through regular patrols of 12 miles of footpaths
  • Contribute to the management of the Dene, ensuring its preservation for future generations

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful coastal environment, surrounded by wildlife and ancient woodland. You will have the chance to develop new skills and gain experience in environmental conservation, while contributing to a meaningful project.
