Job Title: Brand Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Designer to join our dynamic team in the Retail Sector. As a Brand Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and high-quality designs for home textiles licensed products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop exciting and high-quality designs for home textiles licensed products, including print-ready files.
  • Liaise with licensors to ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and production capabilities.
  • Create mood boards based on key trends and themes tailored to character and market.
  • Design strong design decks for core ranges, internal projects, and customer-specific briefs.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on new developments and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Conduct regular market research and attend trade shows.
  • Liaise with product development and suppliers on production samples.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in licensed design and a passion for home textiles.
  • Excellent CAD skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • AVA experience would be an advantage.
  • Confidence in presenting design concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Great attention to detail and excellent eye for color.
  • Ability to work individually on projects and as part of a team.
  • Must have great organization skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Home textiles knowledge would be an advantage.
