Job Summary:

We are seeking a committed individual to join our catering team as a Mobile Food Service Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, healthy meals to school children across Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and catering areas to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Cover absence and sickness throughout the Lancashire area, providing excellent customer service and support to our schools.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, using your own initiative to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
  • Good customer care skills, with a focus on providing excellent service to our school children and their families.
  • Previous catering and food preparation experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.

Working Hours/Days:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Term time only
  • 16.25 hours per week, with variable hours depending on school meal uptake.
