About the Role:

  • As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to a team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.
  • You will work closely with the Fostering team to develop and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes for children in care.
  • With a strong focus on supervision, you will provide regular support and guidance to social workers, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
  • You will also be responsible for ensuring that all social workers are aware of and comply with relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Qualified Social Worker in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team of social workers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, managers, and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
