  • Communicate with the supply chain and team members regarding new and current projects.
  • Prepare detailed estimates and purchase orders for all products.
  • Ensure timely completion of estimates and manage bid pricing from all suppliers.
  • Understand the scope of work to bid and prepare cost analysis.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with subcontractors.
  • Submit tenders in a timely manner and present tender adjudications to seniors.

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in construction estimating.
  • A relevant degree in a field such as construction management or a related field.
  • Ability to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.
  • A strong understanding of residential construction processes and refurbishment.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
  • Impeccable problem-solving skills.
  • Review and evaluate cost estimates.
  • Experience working in the social housing sector would be an advantage.
