Job Title: PPA & Interventions Teacher

Teach Now is seeking an experienced Teacher who possesses excellent knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum and has a proven track record of teaching across these key stages.

About the Role

The school is located in a beautiful residential area in Southgate, Enfield, and is easily accessible by public transport. The role will be on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, with the chosen candidate covering PPA time from Mondays to Thursdays and leading phonics, writing, and math's interventions with groups of children on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students across KS1 and KS2
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support to ensure academic success
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on curriculum changes and teaching methodologies
Requirements
  • Proven experience in teaching KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Valid DBS or willingness to complete one
