Property Owners Underwriter Role

We are seeking a skilled Property Owners Underwriter to join our team at Stride Resource Management Ltd. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for profitably underwriting Property Owners on a case-by-case basis, within appetite and underwriting criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite Property Owners and Commercial Combined accounts, developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues and brokers.
  • Attend training, review meetings, and social events to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Maintain and exceed agreed service levels to internal and external customers, working closely with senior underwriters and supporting those more junior.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the commercial underwriting and broking market, identifying new opportunities within our network.
Requirements:
  • Strong trading skills with experience in developing broker accounts to achieve profitable growth.
  • Underwriting knowledge, specifically with previous experience in Property Owners and/or Commercial Combined.
  • Motivated, driven, and adaptable, with a positive attitude and ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Passionate about own development within the insurance industry, with a willingness to learn and grow.
