About Us

Addleshaw Goddard LLP is a leading international law firm with a strong commitment to training and supporting the next generation of legal professionals.

Salary Information

The Sonia McMahon Award offers a £5,000 bursary to support students studying law at university. In addition to the bursary, the chosen students will also benefit from mentoring and an opportunity to undertake work experience at the firm while at university.

Key Responsibilities

This award is designed to support young people from less privileged backgrounds who are starting their first year of university to study a law degree in the 2024/2025 academic year.

  • You must meet one of the following criteria: had been eligible for free school meals from age 11 or being the first generation in your immediate family to attend university.

Benefits

The award will be paid once the successful student has evidenced their place at university. We invite applications from Monday 24th June, with a deadline for submission on Monday 30th September. If you require adjustments or support completing the application form, please contact Sonia Kumar.
