About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Automation Developer to join our team at Wipro. As a Network Automation Developer, you will play a key role in developing Jira stories in the sprint backlog, ensuring quality and security standards are met. You will also participate in scrum ceremonies, including sprint demos, to showcase progress and make adjustments based on customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Jira stories in the sprint backlog, ensuring quality and security standards are met
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies, including sprint demos, to showcase progress and make adjustments based on customer feedback
  • Collaborate with senior developers to identify and realize improvement opportunities
  • Develop strong networking skills to interact with internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to technical design and discussion
  • Embrace changes and adapt to new technologies
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Interaction with internal stakeholders
  • Good networking skills (L2 VPN, L3 VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SR, LDP, BGP, and IGP)
  • Cisco NSO service creation (services and actions)
  • Experience using workflow engine (e.g., Itential IAP)
  • Good Unix skills (REHL, Centos)
  • Good Python coding skills
  • Competent at service modeling in Yang
  • Competent in XML/JSON/YAML
  • Working knowledge of NETCONF/REST/RESTCONF/SOAP
  • Working knowledge of source control tools (GitLab)
  • Working knowledge of containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
  • Ability to develop from Jira story tickets
  • Working appreciation of agile methodologies (scrum)
  • Familiar with using CI/CD development approach
  • Working knowledge of using database SQL and NoSQL (e.g., Mongo)
