Job Title: Vehicle Valeter (Quality Inspector)

Location: Colchester

Hours: Full Time 40h week (Mon-Fri + Saturday on a rota)

Salary: £23,872.99 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join Thrifty Car & Van Rental as a Vehicle Valeter, where you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of vehicle presentation and quality. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and preparing vehicles for rental, ensuring they meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and prepare vehicles for rental, ensuring they meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Conduct quality checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with vehicles
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure vehicles are properly maintained and repaired
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries and concerns

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or in the automotive industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays
