Overview
Solus Accident Repair Centres is seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality repairs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle assessments using Audatex to estimate repair costs and timescales.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide repair updates and information.
- Compile and maintain accurate records of repair information and supporting documentation.
- Monitor progress of vehicle repairs and negotiate estimates with Aviva Engineers as required.
- Identify opportunities for non-insurance related repairs and conduct mobile and drive-by estimates.
- Maintain and secure allocated equipment and assist other team members as needed.
Qualifications
Desirable qualifications and experience include:
- Proven experience or knowledge of working in the automotive repair industry.
- ATA Accredited.
- Customer service skills and experience of delivering high-quality service to customers.
- Planning and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in managing workflow across multiple departments.
- Valid driving licence.
