Job Title: Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining access solutions equipment, ensuring it operates to specification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure access solutions equipment, including SKIDATA, Circontrol, Citysync, and Commend systems.
  • Provide reliable maintenance, repairs, and class-leading customer service to our client base.
  • Connect, commission, and maintain IT hardware, software, network devices, EV charging, and other access control devices.
  • Proactively provide feedback to improve first fix rates and reduce return visits.
  • Escalate technical issues to the Technical Services Team and work together to achieve resolution.
  • Complete customer hardware and software training remotely via Cornerstone software, on the job, at the Hemel Hempstead office, and if required, in Austria.
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification or experience in IT hardware and software maintenance, application installation, firmware, basic network technology knowledge, access control, ANPR installation, and field service or commissioning experience.
  • Desirable qualifications include CCENT/CCNA, COMPTIA +, EV Charging, parking access equipment installation, stadia access equipment installation, and experience with installing and maintaining CCTV systems.
