Client Manager Job Description

At Pro Talent, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients and ensuring the delivery of top-notch accounting and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all accounting and financial matters.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business operations and financial goals.
  • Financial Expertise: Provide expert guidance on accounting, tax, and financial planning, tailoring solutions to meet clients' individual needs.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and comprehensive solutions for clients.
  • Industry Insights: Monitor industry trends and regulations, proactively advising clients on relevant changes and implications.
  • Business Development: Play a pivotal role in business development efforts, identifying opportunities to expand services within the existing client base.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of growth and learning.
  • Client Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or ACCA qualification preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience (X+ years) in a client-facing role within an accounting practice.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate team members.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strategic Mindset: A proactive and strategic mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
