Maintenance Technician

Ingram Content Group is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our Manufacturing team in Milton Keynes, UK. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of maintenance for all equipment on the print floor, providing preventative and breakdown maintenance, and performing advanced diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair for electronic and mechanical production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical and electrical faults
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks
• Liaising with suppliers of production equipment
• Liaising with Production Manager and Shift Leaders on priority issues
• Sourcing spare parts as required
• Maintaining stock levels of critical parts in line with cost controls
• Communicating concise information at shift handover
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy work environment
• Attending regular team meetings or training as required

Requirements:

• 2 years of equipment maintenance experience in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong electronics background
• GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
• City and Guilds or NVQ qualification
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) qualification desirable
