Senior Fire Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Engineer to join our team at Arcadis. As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing fire safety strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop fire safety strategy reports and means of escape analysis
  • Assess and understand British fire safety legislation and standards, including Approved Document B and BS9999
  • Apply risk-based interpretation and application of fire safety documents, including NFPA standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver fire safety solutions

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership
  • Strong understanding of fire dynamics, heat transfer, and smoke behavior principles
  • Experience with fire modeling simulation and fire protection systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
