IT Lecturer

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational computing or ICT teacher to join our Academy of Professional Industries as a lecturer in IT and Digital Skills.

This is a key role within an existing team, supporting young people to achieve their ambitions into further study and employment.

The successful candidate will be an experienced educator with a passion for teaching and learning, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching on a range of vocational, adult and T Level courses
• Developing and delivering curriculum content aligned to employer needs and skills
• Supporting students to achieve their ambitions into further study and employment

Requirements:

• Experience of teaching BTEC and T Level courses to 16-19 learners
• Knowledge and understanding of programming, cybersecurity, networking
• Positive 'can-do' attitude and enthusiasm for ICT and digital skills
