Job Overview

As a Physical Education Support Assistant, you will work closely with our educators to provide instructional support, foster a positive learning environment, and help our students achieve their full potential in physical education and sports.

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (term time only), equivalent to approximately £450-£500 per week.

About the Role
  • Assist teachers in preparing PE lesson plans and instructional materials.
  • Support students individually or in small groups to enhance their understanding of physical education concepts.
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, school trips, and school events.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
  • Provide feedback and assistance in student assessments and progress monitoring.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs.
Requirements
  • A completed or predicted bachelor's degree in PE, Sports Science, or related (2:2 or above).
  • Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational software.
