We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management Specialist to drive engagement with targeted grocery retailers, enabling excellent execution of brand plans and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize continuous data sources to guide and support the commercial team in influencing and developing relationships with retailers to understand their shoppers.
- Lead the category strategy with targeted grocery retailers, ensuring the right range, distribution, space, and promotions are activated to maximize category opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders through continuous data, shopper, and category knowledge, demonstrating category thought leadership and championing the voice of the shopper.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in FMCG (Food & Fresh Produce) category management, preferably with Sainsburys.
- Experience in leading and influencing retailer category reviews.
- Experience in category-based selling.
- Experience in building collaborative retailer relationships and influencing their decisions.
- Experience in utilizing data provider's tools and databases, such as Nielsen, Circana, Kantar, and SIP.
- Experience in influencing and shaping marketing plans.
- A proven track record of creating strategic change that shapes the thinking and delivery of business results.
