About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Development Solicitor to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Solicitor with the provision of property legal services to our Midland and North Divisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Solicitor with the provision of property legal services to the Midland and North Divisions.
  • Engage with internal legal teams, external legal advisors, and management to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert advice on property law, including land acquisition, disposal, and transactional expertise.
  • Lead on disposals to registered providers and investors, and draft and negotiate development agreements and construction contracts.
  • Provide generic legal advice and signposting to key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Residential Development Solicitor, with a strong understanding of property law and transactional expertise.
  • Excellent negotiation and networking skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Discretion and integrity in attitude and approach, with a willingness to work extra to meet deadlines as required.
