Quantity Surveying Graduate Programme

SSE Thermal is seeking a talented Quantity Surveying graduate to join our team as part of our graduate programme. As a quantity surveying graduate, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team and gain valuable experience in the field of quantity surveying.
About the RoleAs a quantity surveying graduate, you will be responsible for assisting our team in the procurement and commercial management of projects. You will work closely with our procurement and commercial team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including construction, operations, and flexible generation. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as contract management, commercial negotiation, and project management.

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need to have a minimum of a 2:2 in a Quantity Surveying degree. You will also need to have some practical work experience that reflects your passion for the energy sector, as well as demonstrable experience of working in a team.
You will need to be comfortable working to and setting stretching individual targets and using your own initiative to overcome challenges. You will also need to have a genuine interest in SSE Thermal and the prospect of a long-term future with us.
