Job Title: FPGA Engineer

Expleo is seeking a highly skilled FPGA Engineer to join our team. As an FPGA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex digital circuits using VHDL and Verilog.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate high-level requirements into firmware requirements.
  • Investigate preliminary architectures and estimates from initial concepts and specifications.
  • Formalize detailed designs using programmable logic specifications.
  • Implement RTL, constrained place and route through timing closure.
  • Develop verification strategies and schedules to address firmware requirements.
  • Design and utilize unit-level and BFM-style verification test-benches to exercise RTL.
  • Produce documentation to fully support the design.
Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.
Essential Skills:
  • VHDL and/or Verilog.
  • TCL/Python.
  • ModelSim/QuestaSim.
  • Full lifecycle FPGA development.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with electronics design tools (such as Orcad and/or Altium).
  • Experience with microcontrollers and standard bus protocols, including I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe.
  • Digital Signal Processing.
  • DO254.
Experience:
  • 7 years post-graduate relevant work experience.
Clearance:
  • SC or ability to be SC cleared.
