Security Officer

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in providing top-tier security services to protect employees, property, and assets at our clients' premises.
You will be responsible for upholding our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness while delivering exceptional customer service. Your duties will include preventing unauthorised access, monitoring alarms and CCTV, conducting security patrols, and ensuring health and safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prevent unauthorised access and monitor alarms and CCTV
- Conduct security patrols and ensure health and safety protocols
- Manage visitor passes, keys, and security equipment
- Handle incidents, provide assistance to staff, and deter potential threats
- Operate radios, pagers, clocking equipment, and other physical security equipment used on site
Essential Skills and Experience
- Valid SIA Licence
- Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
- Previous experience of 3 to 5 years in the security industry
- Ability to work shifts (days, nights, and weekends)
- Strong communication skills and customer focus
- Computer literacy
