Senior Children's Home Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Children's Home Support Worker to join our team at Esland. As a Senior Children's Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people, helping them to achieve their full potential.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding. You will work closely with our team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our young people, supporting them with their daily needs, education, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, including personal care, education, and leisure activities
- Work closely with our team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met
- Support our young people with their daily needs, including meal preparation, cleaning, and household chores
- Encourage and support our young people to participate in education and leisure activities, promoting their personal development and well-being
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home
- A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare, or at least 50% complete
- A full driving license issued in the UK
- Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice
- Values aligned with Esland's, including a therapeutic, person-centered approach to childcare
- Aged 21 or above, due to industry regulations
