Our client, a fast-growing and award-winning consultancy, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience working on drainage and highway projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage drainage systems, including those in accordance with Sewers for Adoption and the SuDS Manual
  • Work on and off-site highway features, adhering to relevant standards and codes
  • Manage team resources for design work, including reviewing junior team members' reports and design work
  • Attend client meetings and site visits, and co-operate with the Quality Management System
  • Mentor and train junior staff, and support regional offices and other departments through knowledge sharing

As a Senior Civil Engineer with our client, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from pre-app to condition discharge, and to develop your skills and expertise in civil engineering.

Requirements:

  • Preferred: Incorporated Engineer (IEng) [or working towards] with the Institution of Civil Engineers
  • A degree or HND in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years' consultancy experience, with experience working with local authorities, developers, and architects on civil engineering aspects of residential, commercial, and retirement/care schemes
