Efficacy Specialist

Our Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Efficacy Specialist to join our team at Exponent. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to provide strategic advice and guidance on EU and national efficacy data requirements for plant protection products.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on efficacy data requirements for plant protection products, including the preparation of Biological Assessment Dossiers and concise evaluation documents.
• Act as a liaison point between our clients and EU regulatory authorities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Develop and implement efficacy study plans, providing expert comments on client's existing efficacy study plans.
• Conduct data gap analyses of client's existing efficacy data sets, providing guidance on the type and amount of efficacy data required to meet current data requirements.
• Manage efficacy projects and coordinate efficacy projects for clients, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Provide expert efficacy guidance to colleagues working within other regulatory specialisms.

Requirements

• A minimum of a degree or equivalent in the biological sciences or an agriculture-related subject.
• Strong and proven regulatory understanding with respect to efficacy data requirements for plant protection products.
• An agronomic background, possibly gained from conducting efficacy field trials or managing other agronomic testing of plant protection products.
• Experience in the preparation of Biological Assessment Dossiers for efficacy.
• Strong team-working skills, excellent project management skills, and the ability to demonstrate good judgement and sound decision-making.
