We are seeking a male Brain Injury Support Worker to work with a client in Prenton, Birkenhead. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting individuals with complex health conditions and a valid UK driver's license.
This is a flexible hour's position, with 15-20 hours worked per week. The rota will be determined on a monthly basis, taking into account the client's needs.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our client, assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering personalised care and support to our client with complex health conditions.
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Estimated Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in learning disabilities and epilepsy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, upbeat and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
- Valid UK driver's license.
