Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join Morson Talent as a Senior Category Manager, specializing in systems and equipment suppliers.

This role involves managing supplier relationships, optimizing supply base changes, and driving business-winning capability through strategic performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and emerging technologies relevant to the category.
  • Lead major supplier selection exercises, deploying and monitoring category strategies.
  • Manage RFIs/RFPs, optimize supplier performance, and introduce competitiveness required to support the business.
  • Master economic models to add value to the business and supply base.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in direct procurement categories, ideally with technical/engineering stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and implementing category strategy initiatives.
  • Strong contractual knowledge, including framework agreements and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead complex negotiations and understand customer drivers, needs, and programme issues.

What We Offer
