Airwave Support Technician

We are seeking a skilled Airwave Support Technician to join our team at the Shared Services Partnership. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Airwave and communication devices to support the operational requirements of the force.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, program, and repair all operational communication equipment, including Airwave, Covert, Inca, Mobile Phone, and other devices.
- Communicate regularly with service providers and suppliers regarding equipment management and Airwave service provision.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and system development.
- Monitor and assess coverage-related issues, providing solutions and recommendations.
- Advise User Support staff on technology updates and developments.
- Provide regular and effective service to meet the needs of the force.
Educated to QCF Level 3 (2-3 passes) or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in a radio telecommunications role, including experience with fitting and repairing a range of radio equipment.
