Purchase & Materials Controller Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase & Materials Controller to join our UK Production Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and inventory processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and receiving materials
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and improve service
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth production processes and timely delivery of products

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement and inventory management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break

Salary:

£26,000 per annum
