Senior Project Manager for Building Energy Management Systems

BMSI, the UK's largest independent employee-owned BEMS company, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a large bespoke BEMS project. This exciting opportunity allows you to focus on one location with minimal travel and join our highly successful Major Projects team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables, monitoring progress and addressing any deviations or obstacles proactively, with a keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, contractors, and internal teams, facilitating clear communication and resolving issues promptly, with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Site-based to oversee installation, commissioning, and testing activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications, with strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a similar role within Building Energy Management Systems, with demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software.
- Familiarity with the Schneider product range and managing a NEC4 contract.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills and a keen attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Live local or have an easy commute to the RG7 post code area.
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer:
- A highly competitive salary of approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on current skills and experience.

- BMSI is an employee-owned company (EOT), which you would become part of after 12 months' service.
