About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. The successful candidate will provide support for pupils within our school, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional and academic support to pupils with special educational needs.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support pupils with their learning.
  • Assist with classroom activities, including preparing materials and resources.
  • Support pupils with their daily routines, including lunchtime and break times.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience and/or qualifications in working with primary-aged children.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work using own initiative and demonstrate effective behaviour management skills.
