Are you a seasoned ecologist seeking a new challenge? We're looking for a Senior Ecologist to join our team in Gateshead. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading and contributing to various projects, applying your expertise in field surveys, assessments, and reporting. You'll guide clients through the planning and licensing processes, ensuring timely delivery, financial oversight, and clear communication of recommendations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead and contribute to projects, applying expertise in field surveys, assessments, and reporting
* Guide clients through planning and licensing processes
* Manage projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and financial oversight
* Develop fee proposals and maintain high-quality standards

**Requirements:**

* Technical proficiency in at least one of the following areas: Botany/Habitat Surveying, Biodiversity Net Gain, Bat Ecology (Level 2 Bat Licence Holder), or Ornithology
* Excellent management skills, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication
* Experience in supervising staff and coordinating with other professionals
