Job Description

Experis Scotland is seeking an Engineering Team Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our organization, you will lead our engineering team, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in managing teams and leading technical projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing technical strategies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions, and providing technical guidance to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering team, providing technical leadership and guidance
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Python and data-related Python tools such as Numpy, Pandas, or FastAPI
  • Experience in a front-end tool, ideally a JavaScript framework
  • CI/CD and Docker
  • Familiarity with GCP and Kubernetes is a plus
