Job Description



This role involves working a standard day shift as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, taking responsibility for the maintenance and repair of mechanical machinery on a busy manufacturing floor. Key tasks include:




  • Maintenance and repair of equipment and processes in line with production needs
  • Identifying recurring problems and implementing corrective procedures
  • Installation and commissioning of new machinery
  • Overseeing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with management requirements


Requirements and Qualifications



To succeed in this role, you will need:




  • A minimum of a C&G in Mechanical or equivalent qualification
  • At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Basic electrical fault-finding skills
