Mathematical Innovator

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.

We are seeking a talented and innovative Maths Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a key member of our Maths department, you will play a vital role in shaping the mathematical education of our students.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students, developing their critical thinking and analytical skills, and nurturing a love of mathematics.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Crafting stimulating and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Developing students' problem-solving abilities through real-world examples and collaborative activities.
• Delivering the KS3 and KS5 curriculum with precision, ensuring students are well-prepared for exams.
• Mentoring and guiding students to foster a love of learning and explore the world of mathematics.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and ensure a progressive learning environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A deep understanding of mathematics, including KS5 curriculum content.
• A relevant teaching qualification (QTS desirable).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A passion for inspiring students, particularly within the diverse Barking community.
• The ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying at the forefront of maths education.
