An exciting opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global engineering company specializing in the design and manufacture of equipment used in the Renewable and Oil & Gas industry.

Based in the UK, this role offers a chance to work on all aspects of design engineering and coordination of technical activities on projects.

As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be tasked with working on design layouts, concepts, design reviews, calculations, engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly drawings.

You will also be responsible for assembly and test procedures, product testing and qualification, and preparation of project engineering schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and experience with relevant software such as Inventor 3D or similar CAD programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering to gain valuable hands-on experience as an engineer within Design and the role also encompasses engineering areas including materials, FEA, environment, problem-solving, etc.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking all aspects of product design and development
  • Design layouts/concepts design review calculations engineering drawings
  • BOMs & Assembly Drawings
  • Assembly and Test Procedures
  • Product testing and qualification
  • Preparation of project engineering schedules
  • Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables
